Registration is now open for RFID Journal's RFID in Aerospace and Defenseconference and exhibition, taking place on Dec. 13, 2017, at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City, located in Arlington, Va. The one-day event will feature fast-track RFID training, provided by RFID4U, on Dec. 12, prior to the conference.
This year's RFID in Aerospace and Defense conference is aimed at helping companies in these sectors to implement the use of RFID technology to meet customer requirements and achieve significant benefits internally. Case studies presented by aerospace and defense firms already using RFID will help attendees to determine the best technology for their needs, and to learn best practices from early adopters.
The conference sessions will cover a wide variety of applications relevant to the aerospace and defense sectors, including asset tracking, inventory management, work-in-process tracking, reducing foreign objects left onboard, enhancing worker safety, supply chain management and customer compliance. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with RFID technology providers exhibiting at the event. These leading RFID companies will offer solutions specifically for the aerospace and defense sectors, such as high-memory tags.
The conference will feature an advanced, one-day fast-track training course presented by RFID4U. Using the latest equipment and relevant RFID deployment scenarios, this course will provide a solid foundation to design, install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot an RFID deployment. The training will prepare participants to take the RFID Professional Institute's Certified Associate exam onsite at the event.
"This is a great opportunity for aerospace companies to get their RFID teams trained and certified on how to implement the technology," says Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor, "and to hear case studies from those leading the way to a more efficient, safe and profitable future."
